On 16-18 May, a delegation of Lithuanian companies took part in a business mission to Israel organised by LithuaniaBIO, during which they participated in the “Biomed Israel” conference on life sciences and medical technology, where they had a national booth. The Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, E. Markevičiūtė, visited the exhibition and interacted with the representatives of the companies.

During the trip, the representatives of the companies took part in the acceleration programme organised by the Agency, where they had the opportunity to learn about business development and partnering in Israel, meet mentors and gain new knowledge and skills, and attend a lecture to learn more about the digitisation processes of companies.
The companies attended seminars at the Technion universitete, and B2B meetings at the Lithuanian Embassy.
During the trip, the Lithuanian delegation also visited the Innovation Centre of former Israeli leader, President Shimon Peres.
The business mission included representatives of the following companies: Cureline Baltic, Memel Biotech, Inovatyvios diagnostikos centras, Placenta, Inovatyvios medicinos centras, Inovacijų agentūra, Ekonomikos ir inovacijų ministerija, EmPlastrum, Biotecha, Caszyme, VUGENE.
