On April 17-20, a delegation of Lithuanian companies participated in a business mission to Poland organized by LithuaniaBIO, during which Aušrinė Armonaitė, Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, opened the life sciences forum “CEBioForum 2023“.
During the event, LithuaniaBIO president Tomas Andrejauskas, together with the minister, participated in a panel discussion about the future of life sciences in Europe, and Lithuanian companies represented the life sciences sector in a national stand at the exhibition.
During the visit to Poland, the Lithuanian business delegation visited and gained experience from the largest drug wholesaler company “Pelion“, took part in an official meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Poland and visited and established business relations with five scientific and business organizations in the city of Lodz.
Such missions significantly contribute to the achievement of the set strategic goal of increasing the share of added value created by the Life Sciences sector from GDP to 5 percent by 2030.
Representatives of the following Lithuanian companies went to the business mission: Cureline Baltic, Memel Biotech, Inovatyvios diagnostikos centras, SatiMed, Bioprocess Solutions, Placenta, Inovatyvios medicinos centras, Inovacijų agentūra, Užsienio reikalų ministerija, Ekonomikos ir inovacijų ministerija
