On 24-25 October, a delegation of Lithuanian companies took part in the European Forum For Industrial Biotechnology & The Bioeconomy 2023 (EFIB) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
EFIB brings together professionals from across the value chain, including researchers, policy makers, regulators, and global organisations, to discuss advancements in industrial biotechnology and its contribution towards positioning Europe as a global leader in addressing societal and sustainability challenges. LithuaniaBIO, together with Lithuanian companies, represented the life sciences sector with a national stand. Representatives of the following Lithuanian participated in the event: UAB Biomatter, Puls-as, UAB VUGENE, UAB Placenta, UAB Into Bioprocess, UAB Real Gold LT.
Juozas Gordevičius, the founder of VUGENE, participated in the Startups Pitch session and presented his company there.
