Lithuanian biotechnology association is excited to announce joining the global-reach community of health technology network – European Connected Health Alliance- ECHAlliance. ECHAlliance connects 78 countries and 4.4 billion people (Europe, USA, Canada, China, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Americas and the Pacific) with community of 700+ member organizations and 16,500+ experts. ECHAlliance’s international network of ecosystems consist of 40+ ecosystems around the world, who are regionally-focused, permanent, multi-stakeholder partnerships committed to work together to implement innovative solutions that improve the quality of health and well-being of citizens, the effectiveness of the healthcare system and the scope for wealth creation and business opportunities.
LBTA joined ECHAlliance as Lithuanian Health Technology Ecosystem. The ultimate purpose of the LBTA facilitated Lithuanian Health Technology ecosystem is to focus on the open market cycle of innovation driven change and welfare enhancement both for the ecosystem members and the society as well. LBTA believes that Lithuanian stakeholders have all it takes to fast track evolution of accumulated competencies, infrastructure and technologies into the much awaited and needed socio-economic progress, leading to global success stories of Lithuanian innovators and entrepreneurs, as well as improvements in national healthcare system.
LBTA aims to facilitate the missing links for and between novel technologies (red biotech, ICT, as well as AI) to reach the market in the shape of value adding goods and services, speed up technology dissemination by stimulating evolution of related tacit structures of social acceptance, decision making, perceptions, etc., which either support or limit the value of the available technologies at much earlier stages than a supportive regulative and tax environment can have a positive impact.
