TransBioNet – Funded by the European Union

TransBioNet is a Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action building the first European network of organisations that help turn biomedical discoveries into medicines and market-ready solutions.

Project goal – to help promising early-stage drug discovery projects across Europe become investment-ready and to narrow the gap between laboratory discoveries and therapies that reach patients.

Project activities – a shared digital platform for learning, matchmaking and project assessment; a Valorisation Assessment Toolkit; a European Infrastructure Atlas; a Digital Training Academy and cross-border secondments; two Open Calls selecting 12 early-stage drug discovery projects for a 12-month acceleration programme; and the TransBioNet Charter with policy recommendations at EU and national level.

LithuaniaBIO’s role – represents the Lithuanian ecosystem, coordinates cross-border secondments between European ecosystems, contributes to the analysis of national policies and disseminates project results and opportunities in Lithuania.
