LithuaniaBIO and Lithuanian life science companies attended the BIO International Convention 2024, held in San Diego, USA from June 3-6. The BIO convention was a prime platform for the Lithuanian delegation to showcase our life sciences ecosystem and meet potential partners, fostering international collaboration crucial for driving innovation and growth in the biotech industry. The Lithuanian delegation included a diverse group of companies such as: Genomika, VUGENE, Saidė Genomics, Caszyme, Genie Biotech, Northway Biotech, Invest Lithuania, Vital3D Technologies, Biomapas and LAIMA.
At the convention, the Lithuanian delegation was eager to discuss potential collaborations and innovations within the biotech sector. Attendees were invited to visit the Lithuanian stand to meet and learn more about Lithuanian companies and opportunities in this sector.
Simultaneously InnoHub Lithuania organized the Bio 2024 Lithuanian Pitch Event, bringing together Lithuanian companies and the InnoHub Lithuania team. This event, held at Sparks Gallery in San Diego, provided an incredible opportunity to establish connections and discuss synergies for American-Lithuanian business ventures. Nine Lithuanian companies delivered engaging three-minute elevator pitches, followed by a Q&A session with a panel of USA-based Lithuanians in the biotech industry.
The BIO International Convention saw participation from representatives of over 10,000 companies, including those providing digital solutions for the life sciences and biotechnology sectors. During the conference, numerous valuable contacts were made, which will help contribute to the implementation of EDIH project activities. We are happy to create networks that will support companies on their digitalization journey.
