The Research Council of Lithuania (LMT) invites applications for the R&D training „Kaip komercializuoti savo technologiją?“ (How to commercialise your technology?), intended for young and early-stage life sciences and biotechnology companies that have already started commercialising their research results or are ready to begin this process.
The training will be led by Ashley Kalinauskas (USA) – founder and CEO of the biotechnology company „Torigen Pharmaceuticals“, who grew her research result from the University of Notre Dame into a product used in veterinary clinics across the USA and has to date raised more than USD 20 million in private capital investment.
Over two practical sessions, participants will learn to assess the commercial potential of a technology, understand customer and market needs, evaluate technological, clinical, regulatory and commercial risks, plan market entry and prepare for an investor presentation. At the end of the programme, the teams will draw up a 3–6 month action plan.
When?
📅 3 November | 15.00–18.00
📅 17 November | 15.00–18.00
The training will take place online via „Microsoft Teams“. After each session there will also be a 30-minute individual consultation with the biotechnology expert.
10 companies will be selected for the training, with up to 2 representatives per company. Participation is reimbursed for each company under the de minimis aid principle up to EUR 350.
During registration you will need to submit a 3–10 slide „pitch deck“. Please send the presentation by e-mail to domantas.zubrickis@lmt.lt.
