LithuaniaBIO, together with Lithuanian life sciences organizations participated in Nordic Life Science Days 2025 in Sweden on October 13-14!
Together with representatives from VUGENE, Biomapas, Vital3D Technologies, Wellgem Biopharma, Nando, EXOLITUS, Ligence, Sartorius | Bioprocess Solutions, Bioenergy LT, and Kaunas University of Technology, we represented the Lithuanian life sciences ecosystem at the national pavilion, where Lithuania’s Ambassador to Sweden, Linas Linkevičius, gave the opening remarks.
During the conference, the Lithuanian Session “Bridging the Baltics and Nordics: Innovation without borders” brought together key voices from across the life sciences ecosystem. LithuaniaBIO Vice-President Agne Vaitkeviciene opened the session by presenting the vibrant Lithuanian life sciences landscape and its growing role in Europe’s biotech innovation.
This was followed by an inspiring discussion featuring leaders from startups, innovation agencies, and industry:

The discussion focused on building stronger bridges between the Baltic and Nordic regions – unlocking new opportunities through joint projects, consortium building, and shared innovation strategies. Speakers also highlighted the importance of aligning these efforts with EU goals for innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth in life sciences.
The event gathered experts from biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and related fields – an inspiring space to connect, share ideas, and showcase Europe’s growing life sciences potential.
