On 20-21 September, LithuaniaBIO participated in the Life Sciences Baltics conference in Vilnius.
Life Sciences Baltics brought together top decision makers and the next generation of founders and talents, CEOs of companies and startups, tech scouts and researchers from the Baltics and all around the world all in one place.
During the conference, we had the opportunity to attend numerous informative panel discussions and presentations, actively participated in networking sessions, and engaged in valuable B2B meetings.
LithuaniaBIO President Tomas Andrejauskas, along with representatives from Taiwan, inaugurated the Taiwan booth, providing an opportunity to explore the latest innovations from Taiwan and meet their representatives.
On September 18, ahead of the Life Sciences Baltic conference, the Taiwan business delegation, accompanied by representatives from LithuaniaBIO and Innovation Agency, visited Kaunas University of Technology Santaka Valley. During their visit, they had the opportunity to observe the research conducted by local scientists. They also attended an event organized by LithuaniaBIO and the Innovation Agency, where they were introduced to the Lithuanian life sciences ecosystem and the business development opportunities available in Lithuania.
On September 22, the Taiwan delegation visited the VU Life Sciences Centre, where they met with the Centre’s Director, Daumantas Matulis, and toured the laboratories.
Additionally during Life Sciences Baltics, Caszyme and nSAGE from South Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding, to maintain further cooperation and business partnership between the countries.
Congratulations to BioGNR, a member of the Association, which won two prizes in the Start-up Pitch Battle, where 40 companies competed, with only 10 selected for the final.
