On November 27th, in Vilnius, the “Lithuanian–Poland Life Science & Biotech Ecosystems Summit” will take place – a strategic event aimed at strengthening collaboration between two rapidly growing European regions’ life sciences and biotechnology sectors.
This one-day event will bring together leaders from science, industry, investment, and policy to create an integrated, competitive, and attractive bioecosystem in Lithuania and Poland for international investors.
Event theme: “Building a Transnational Bioecosystems: From Research to Biomanufacturing”
The event emphasizes connecting scientific research, innovation, and industrial production into a cohesive value chain that could become a regional hub for biotechnology and life sciences. During the ecosystem meeting, there will be five thematic sessions focused on key components of the ecosystem:
- Technology transfer and academia-industry collaboration,
- Development of startups and fast-growing companies,
- Biomanufacturing infrastructure and talent development,
- Attracting investments and risk mitigation in early-stage biotechnologies.
Participants will include representatives from university technology transfer centers, innovation agencies, biotech companies, investors, and policy makers from Lithuania and Poland.
The event is organized by the association LithuaniaBIO together with the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the Lithuanian Innovation Agency and BioForum.
