Virtual workshop on life science accelerators
Lithuanian Biotechnology Association together with SIN Baltics and Vilnius Embassy DIT Investment team is organizing a virtual workshop on life science accelerators for Lithuanian decision makers and wider biotech community.
Speakers:
Christopher Haley (Head of New Technology & Startup Research, NESTA). NESTA – innovation foundation in UK – will share the views about the effective life science accelerator from policy and practical implementation point of view.

Colin Roberts (Venture Development Director, BioCity). BioCity has a long and distinguished track record of creating, housing and accelerating the growth of successful companies in the areas of life sciences and healthcare. It is the largest such operator in the UK. BioCity directly operates over 350,000 sq. ft of high quality specialist incubator facilities across 4 geographic locations in key life science hubs, housing 150+ companies who employ over 1200 people between them. BioCity now operates an integrated model of life sciences venture development, investment and incubation – the largest of its kind in the UK.

Daina Klepone (Managing Director, Enterprise Lithuania) Enterprise Lithuania is a non-profit agency under Ministry of Economy and Innovation established to promote entrepreneurship, support business development and foster export. Daina Klepone will present overview of life science sector in Lithuania, current and future acceleration projects, challenges and prospects of growing biotech industry. |
